I began this journey 80 pounds heavier than I am today and so confused about how to lose weight and get in shape. I struggled with dieting and not feeling good enough most of my childhood and into adulthood. However, I always found peace with my pets, either snuggling with them or walking through nature. My passion for health and fitness is the reason I decided to become a NASM certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Wellness Coach, as well as a desire to help others. When it comes to health and fitness, I believe in sustainability and lifestyle change over all else! I want to be a guide to my clients on their wellness journey! Sure, there are great "12-week programs, 1-month challenges, 90-day transformations", but by the end of the day, when you finish that, what's next? Another 12-week program? When working with clients, I like to build from the ground up. Instead of handing you a meal plan, I teach you how to build your own. My love for animals lead me to add Furry Friends Fitness as a second business after losing my last pet, Max who was the sweetest dog. My whole life I had pets including, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, parakeets, a chinchilla, rabbits, and a gecko, not to mention growing up on a farm with horses, cows, pigs, chickens and goats. I knew now it was time to help others with their furry friends and keeping them happy and healthy. Why trust your fur babies with just anyone? I have a lifetime of experience caring for animals and combine my passion for fitness and love for animals to make sure your fur babies are getting the best care by a licensed, insured and experienced caretaker.
